Apple Picking

So on Saturday we went to the apple picking orchards and picked 39 lbs of the Golden Delish! We met up with our neighbors across the street and had a great afternoon.

I got to wear a cool plastic bucket that held twenty pounds of apples.

This is Shamus with Cole who is 11 months older than Shamus. We believe that they are going to be best friends growing up.

Here is Shamus getting an apple from Natalie. The kids really had a good time.

It was a beautiful day. The idea to go pick apples came to me while searching the web. There was an article about things to do that are harvesty or autumy...I know I am just so ready for change in the season. Today it was a sweltering 84 degree's. I really shouldn't complain about the weather but it was too hot especially when I want it to be cooler, not raining, just cooler.

I think this photo is halarious. I love the shadow's on his face. It looks like he has a huge widow's peak and that he is lifting his eye brow really high. Of course he is strutting his stuff. I love my husband :)
